PIKIN CORNER is a nonpolitical organization dedicated to supporting children in need.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The network for children’s rights is PIKIN CORNER’s main aim. The organization will take all appropriate measures to:
- Support, implement, and raise awareness of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, signed by Greece in 1992, as well as promote the declaration.
- Defend the rights of children on a local and international level.
- Implement solidarity actions and organize cultural, artistic, and educational events that contribute to a collective consciousness that all children belong to the same community and have equal rights.
- Focus on challenges that children from vulnerable populations face, including children with disabilities, unaccompanied minors, hospitalized, institutionalized, or imprisoned children.
What We Do
Our Dedicated Services
Health Programs
We provide access to healthcare servicesfor less privileged children to have medical check-ups, vaccinations and treatment for common illnesses.
Our nutrition programs provide healthy meals and snacks for children, particularly in schools.
Education Programs
We engage with communities or parents to raise awareness of the importance of education as we still face challenges in rural areas as they still have the idea that education is meant for boys, not girls.
Discourage the idea of premature employment and labor exploitation for children that should be in school
