WARNING! Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury:

This product is a Toning Bar, a heavy lifting, bodybuilding, not powerhouse bar, This is a great addition to your gym workout! This system is equipped for light lifters, and moderate toners, the band resistance starts out at 5 pounds and can sustain up to 250 pounds of resistance pressure.

Never use the Bar and Bands with frayed or damaged elastic bands.

Replace any damaged bands immediately.

Always make sure you have a firm grip on the bar (fingers wrapped around) to avoid injury.

Always make sure the band is securely clipped into the hooks and the hooks are hanging without crinkle before beginning.

Be careful when placing the bands in the hooks, if you’re not carefull you can cut the bands.

Follow instructions for the EXCELLE XL 3 piece Bar & Bands about the “Do” and “Do Not” Statement.

EXCELLE XL Toner Bar & Bands Do and Do Not:

Do place the bands under the arch of your feet, with any leg exercises.

When doing toe raisers be sure to keep the bands under your toes, rest the bar above your knee and proceed to raise your heel 40 times to complete the excercise. Slow and steady wins the race, speed is not your friend.

When doing the sitting Kayak workout besure to keep your feet pointed out at a 45 degree angle and not at a 90 degree angle, so the bands do not roll over your feet and snap back and hit you.

Do make sure the bar is completely screwed together, before applying tension. There will be no gap or thread shown when completely screwed together.

Do make sure the bands are securely hooked and the hooks are completely closed before applying pressure with the bar.

Do wear shoes with every EXCELLE XL Bar & Bands workout. For best practice, use a foam roller between your feet when pulling the EXCELLE XL Bar & Bands upward, just in case you let the bar snap back to the ground, the foam roller will absorb the EXCELLE XL Bar impact instead of the EXCELLE XL Bar hitting your foot or feet.

Do use a neutral grip, and keep your wrists straight and your thumbs wrapped around the bar for all exercises.

Do make sure the bands are not damaged before applying tension.

Do Keep your elbows flared out at 45 degrees from your body when performing the chest press, and press away from your chest in a decline press motion, and do use an EXCELLE XL wrap to wrap the bands when placing them behind your back so they do not roll as easy while on your back.

Do perform your EXCELLE XL Bar exercises slowly and in a controlled fashion, with a cadence of 1-2 up, 1-2 down. If you cannot perform repetitions slowly while maintaining complete control of the EXCELLE XL Bar, select a lighter EXCELLE XL band.

Do refer back to this reminder often (twice a week), to remember the Dos and Don’ts for the EXCELLE XL Bar & Bands.

When using the EXCELLE XL bands alone, do make sure you are gripping the EXCELLE XL bands with the EXCELLE XL wraps so you don’t pinch your skin. Another option is to securely attach the handles and grip the handles instead.

DO NOT:

Do not stretch the EXCELLE XL (SHORT) bands more than 63 inches while standing with the EXCELLE XL Bar in two hands, under both arches of the feet while spread shoulder width apart & tension on the band/bands.

Do not let the EXCELLE XL Bar & Bands go while pressure is applied, you do not want the bar to snap down and hit the top of your foot or feet.

Do not add more than 3 short bands (Yellow, Blue, & Black) with the EXCELLE XL Bar to use for a set.

Do not apply glue or solvents to your EXCELLE XL Bar or Bands.​

Do not utilize a “suicide grip” which is where you grip the EXCELLE XL Bar without wrapping your thumbs around it.

Do not use your EXCELLE XL Bar & Bands on slippery, unstable, rough, rocky, or sandy surfaces.

Do not grind the bands into the ground while standing or having your feet on top of the bands.

Do not step off the bands if there is still tension in the bands.

Do not release the EXCELLE XL Bar & bands while there is tension in the band/bands.

Do not stretch the EXCELLE XL (SHORT) bands more than 63 inches while using the door anchor with the EXCELLE XL Toner Bar in two hands.
